Partnered with nursing professor to design socks with wearable technology to improve gait of patients with parkinson disease.

o   DOCENA 12NA is a design studio that works on super recycling, involving itself in circular economy, design, art and community projects. They seek to generate experiences that respond to comprehensive projects that link material with spiritual recycling.

Lara Campos - Fashion Tech designer/ Textile researcher

o Material driven designer, researcher and textile artist. Her practice blurs the boundaries between materials, technology and biology, proposing new perspectives on biocentric design. Lara believes that design can open a space for dialogue between human and other living organisms. Her research focuses on emotional response, merging biomaterials with digital fabrication.

Babajide Ipaye - “KEEXS”
o   KEEXS is the first innovative and social footwear brand in AFRICA, founded in 2015 through a KICKSTARTER campaign. Its mission is to revolutionize the footwear industry with innovative designs that merge fun and style. KEEXS may have its root in Africa but it’s a brand that is touching lives globally.


​Simran Merwah -   "Making the Intangible-Tangible Through Wearable Art and Design."
o   The art of exploring materials, textures and techniques are her sources of inspiration. While technology and dimension direct her visual language.

Ninoska Merchan -   "NINOSKA"
o   Ninoska is known for her work in the area of digital couture, wearables, 3D printing and Biomaterials.

​Stephanie Santos - “Hybrid”
o   Computational Design, Biofabrication, and the use of tech machines like 3D printer and Laser Cutter.  The mind and creator behind the brand STEPHANIE SANTOS. A version of 3D Couture and Future of Fashion that aims towards a Fashion-technology approach.

Chhail Khalsa -  "ANUVAD Humanising E-textiles"
o   A Research studio that combines new age technology with age-old craft techniques to create products that integrate technology seamlessly.

o   Inspired by New York Freedom Tower and its architecture; genesis symbol and hope guide. Piece specially created for Internet of Fashion Runway at New York Fashion Week, 3D printed in colour-changing material.

​Susana Marques -“SARQUE”
o   Founder, fashion designer and researcher at SARQUE. A project created off of the idea that I “for every conventional textile there will be a correspondent in 3D printing”

Eddy Lazaro - “General Sustainable Prototyping”
Eldy Lazaro is a Peruvian architect and an active member of the global maker and biomaker community. She has strong professional education, graduated with a Master of Fine Arts - MFA in Design at UC Davis. Her research is at the intersection of Biodesign, Digital Fabrication, and Wearable Technology.
